911 Datamaster announces agreement to provide IES NG Database

IES (Independent Emergency Services) has selected 911Datamaster to continue their 10 year partnership for traditional database software tools. In addition, the choice was made to add NG database (VDB/ERDB/LIS) as part of their evolution plan. The new agreement will provide a logical cost effective migration plan for IES and their customers. Presently IES (formed by seven independent telephone companies) provides data base services for seventy five percent of Minnesota’s 87 counties. Over the past 10 years every county in Minnesota that has implemented a fully enhanced E9-1-1 has partnered with IES.

The IES NG Network solution will also include NG Selective Routing from Solacom. 911Datamaster and Solacom have also entered into a comprehensive testing and integration agreement for NG interoperability and compatibility to be first used within the IES solution.

“We are very excited to continue our partnership with IES and are looking forward to tightly integrating with Solacom. This deployment proves out what we have said for the past 18 months. “NG” should be a logical cost effective migration where our customers determine timing of deployment.” states Eric J Regnier, Vice President Business Development and Strategy of 911Datamaster
